    Salaam 'Alaikum

Subhan'Allah, was just talking about this w/ several friends, b/c it's ... just timely again in light of the events down South. (Well, it's always timely, but now it's sort of on the nat'l consciousness, even if people still can't bring themselves to admit White privilege exists).

  2. W'salaam wr wb,

The timing of it, was serendipitous, truly. He does indeed work in mysterious ways.

I loved your post months ago, on racism in the ummah. You don't pull punches, and many Muslims would have us do that. The dirty underbelly of prejudice is something very real, sinister and omnipresent.

If guiding lights such as Hz Bilal and Abu Dharr had an argument where insults got racist, it only reminds us that no one is immune from racism. May He be well pleased with them both.

And thank you so much, for adding me to your Blog-list. I've yet to learn how to add links to my page!
